Glyphosate Ammonium Salt is a type of systemic herbicide which is applied to agricultural field for killing weeds. It is an organophosphorus compound that also serves as crop desiccant. This herbicide is widely absorbed through foliage and gets transported to growing points of weeds. It works by inhibiting an enzyme which is involved in synthesis of aromatic amino acids required for their growth. Glyphosate Ammonium Salt appears as white crystalline powder with density of 1.704 g/cm3.
